GLI SVILUPPI
A partire dagli anni Settanta, tramite l’aggiunta del processo di degassaggio nei propri processi produttivi, diventa la prima acciaieria italiana a vendere al mercato lingotti ad alta integrità. Tra gli anni Novanta e Duemila, gli investimenti per lo sviluppo di nuovi prodotti e tecnologie di qualità proseguono.

THE DEVELOPMENTS
Starting from the 1970 it specializes in high integrity steels, to then introduce vacuum degassing into production processes, allowing it to be the first Italian private steelwork in the sector. Between the 1990s and 2000s, the investments continue for the development of new products and quality technologies.

A further and important growth: the start of new remelting plants and new production technologies. The steelwork looks to the future mainteining the vocation for innovation.

Con il cambio della proprietà che vede la Famiglia Galperti, una Famiglia che vanta più di 100 anni di esperienza e successo nel mondo dell'acciaio, prende il nome di Rubiera Special Steel SpA permettendo di guardare al futuro con nuove prospettive di crescita.

AMPLIAMENTO DEL PORTAFOGLIO PRODOTTI
Inizia la produzione di acciai inossidabili martensitici e si diversifica il portafoglio di offerta, introducendo i valori di servizio, lavoro di squadra, sicurezza ed attenzione all'ambiente.

LE CERTIFICAZIONI
Rubiera Special Steel è già qualificata da anni con le certificazioni ISO 14001 e ISO 9001. L'impegno costante in termini di qualità e ambiente le hanno permesso di ottenere le certificazioni ISO 45001 e ISO 50001, riguardanti rispettivamemente sicurezza sul luogo di lavoro e l'efficientamento energetico.

OGGI, DOMANI
In vista di integrare e completare la propria offerta di prodotti ad alte prestazioni, Rubiera Special Steel acquisisce l'acciaieria di Cividate al Piano (ex ACP/Olifer), ferma dal 2020. L'Azienda intende rilanciare la produzione di acciai inossidabili e leghe speciali con l'ammodernamento degli impianti e l'acquisto di un impianto AOD (Argon Oxygen Decarburisation).

THE EXPANSION
The company starts the production of Martensitic Stainless Steels and diversifies the production capacity, introducing the values of quality, teamwork, safety and attention to the environment.

THE CERTIFICATIONS
Rubiera Special Steel has been qualified for years with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications. The constant commitment to quality and the environment has enabled it to obtain the ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 certifications, concerning respective safety in the workplace and energy efficiency.

TODAY, TOMORROW
With the aim of expanding and completing its portfolio of high-performance products, Rubiera Special Steel has acquired the steel plant in Cividate al Piano (formerly ACP/Olifer), which has been inactive since 2020. The company plans to relaunch the production of stainless steels and special alloys by modernizing the facilities and installing an AOD (Argon Oxygen Decarburization) system.
